Thought of the moment - how come you always seem to bump into someone who has either lived in the Heath or knows someone from the Heath?

Here's some naughty things!  Oh if Connex have pissed you off recently, click here for their official customer dissatisfaction sheet - nice!  Oh and the "Everybody Needs Haywards Heath" Song is being concocted! Oh dear we were bored so we put together a Smiley and Emoticons page just because we could!

"nice one people for putting HH on the www" - SunDog

We pay homage here to all that is great and poor about our fair town of Haywards Heath (hey we even have our very week celebrating the Heath - TOWN WEEK 99.  Well to be honest we pillorise Lindfield and The Mid-Sussex Times.  I know that I ought to do something more productive myself with my spare time, but the writers of the Mid Sussex Times get paid to write some really stoopid items!!

Anyway Haywards Heath is in West Sussex and is 15 miles north of Brighton and about 50 miles from London.  The London to Brighton rail line runs through the town and you can probably guess from that this is a true and true commuter town.  The nearest towns would happen to be Burgess Hill, East Grinstead and Brighton.  There are a number of villages in the county.

As for Lindfield we pillarise the village for its "Best Kept Village" motif.   The simple reason is that a village cannot simply compete if it is already endowed with a number of historical buildings in the first place.  Also Lindfieldiens have a upper class attitude in deference to Haywards Heath!  Then again were just as bad when it concerns Burgess Hill.... Bleeurghh!!  (note this is also the attitude of some Ditchling folk - Dame Vera complained about the Morris Dancers practicing!!)

www.brighton.co.uk heaps praise on TAHHP - well since the the web meister used to come from the Heath it's only natural! Also featured on www.alt-brighton.com And also featured on the "Last Night To Whitehawk" (okay on the jingle they play on the Terry Garrigan show! - well okay the town not the website!) - catch it Mon to Thurs after 10pm on Southern FM.
