Haywards Heath Town Week 99

Travellers to this site may have noticed the lure of the Town Week, well it is certainly a lure and even to this day no-one has quite worked out it's actual aims in the community.  Anyway with the demise of the Dolphin Fair and the rise of business in the Heath, it's become natural that one should replace the other.  Anyhow, last year's Town Week was a bumper spill of advertising, yet strangely this year the programme is now reduced to a poultry double sided pamphlet!!

We'll hope to have some pictures of the parade... NICE!!!  Always a cracker!  Anyway don't just sit there browsing, we need your contributions on this subject!

Procession Pictures now On line

Welcome to Town Week "99"
On behalf of everyone involved I have great pleasure in welcoming you to Haywards Heath Town Week '99.

As you can see from this programme we once again have an extended week of fun for all tastes and ages.

We are sure that you will find something of interest whether it is the Rock Show, the Wedding Fair, Quiz Night, Songs From the Shows, or one of our daytime delights - the Cookery Demonstration - Wind in the Willows or one of our events for our younger visitors. Following their huge success last year we are pleased to announce the return of That'll be the Day to Victoria Park and of course don't forget Proms in the Park with the Firework display on Saturday. The week ends with a concert by Wilbury Jam, who will make sure that our week ends on a high note.

Our aim is to entertain you, and at the end of the day national and local charities will benefit from your support.  There are many people who deserve our thanks - starting with the Town Council and all our sponsors without whom we would not have a Town Week. Many thanks also to our organisers and to all the people behind the scenes who work so hard.

But the biggest thanks go to my fellow committee members and their support teams for all their hard work not only during Town Week but all year round. And finally, thank you for coming. I sincerely hope that you, your families and friends have a great time at Town Week '99.
